Volume plastics are widely-used, cost-efficient materials.

This group includes thermoplastics, such as PE (polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and PS (polystyrene). Typically, basic plastics are used in environments where temperatures remain below 100°C.
