Plastic sheets can be shaped by bending. It is a quick and cost-efficient method for creating simple shapes. For plastic bending, cold bending or temper-shaping methods can be used. Plastics that are suitable for bending include PC, PETG and ABS. In temper shaping, either a limited area of the sheet is heated or alternatively the entire sheet can be heated in an oven. If the piece is heated in an oven, the mould must be cooled down.
