UHMW-PE – Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene
FLEX WEAR
Flex wear "sandwich sheet" is manufactured from an ultra-high molecular weight low pressure polyethylene (PE-UHMW) with a molecular weight of approximately 5 million g/mol. The sheet is used in the bulk goods transport sector and serves to indicate the amount of wear. A change in the sheet color indicates that 75% of the sheet has been used and the sheet should be changed. This guarantees constant visual monitoring of the system. We deliver FLEX WEAR as plastic sheets.
