Coated acrylic –
PMMA Hard
PMMA Hard is a coated acrylic. The coating considerably improves the material’s abrasion resistance without affecting its excellent optical properties. The material is suitable for demanding applications in which high resistance to abrasion is required. Acrylic is inherently harder than PC, so it is slightly more prone to breaking than polycarbonate, but it is still seven times more durable than glass. The material is commonly used in noise barriers and ice-hockey rinks. We deliver PMMA Hard as plastic sheets.
