Bureau Veritas carried out the re-certification of Aikolon's quality management system, which showed good progress. The audit confirmed that Aikolon meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 management system standard. The certificate covers the import, fabrication, and sales of engineering plastics as well as product development.
A more extensive re-certification audit is conducted every three years, with lighter interim audits performed between them. The date of issuance for this audit is August 30, 2024, and it is valid until the fall of 2027, provided that the continuous operation of the management system complies with the requirements.
The audit reviewed all of Aikolon’s key core processes at the Oulu and Vantaa offices. During the four-day inspection, two auditors comprehensively assessed the capability of the processes.
"We gained valuable development ideas from the Bureau Veritas re-certification audit, which we will learn from and use as part of our continuous improvement," said our quality specialist, Petteri Kesonen.
