We are excited to announce that, as of October 15, 2025, Aikolon Oy has become part of the Arla Plast Group, as Arla Plast AB has acquired the shares in Aikolon Oy in Finland.
Founded in 1969, Arla Plast is a leading manufacturer and supplier of extruded sheets made from technical plastic materials. The company’s wide product range covers numerous applications such as safety products, machine guards, ice hockey rinks, greenhouses, pool enclosures, noise barriers, vehicle components, and various construction-related uses.
Arla Plast’s headquarters and main production are located in Borensberg, Sweden, with additional production facilities in the Czech Republic and Spain, as well as a distribution unit in Germany. The company has an annual turnover exceeding SEK 1.4 billion and employs around 350 people. Arla Plast delivers its products to more than 1,000 customers in over 50 countries.
“Sheet processing and coating is a rapidly growing business area for Arla Plast. We have faced some limitations in our current supply chains, which have slowed our growth in this area.
