Kreeta Pellikka has started in a new position as Production Manager at the Oulu unit.
In this position, Kreeta is responsible for the daily operations of the Oulu engineering production, ensuring that the operations are cost-effective and of high quality. Her responsibilities include leading weekly meetings for production and planning, as well as quality meetings. Additionally, she works as the supervisor of Jari Nyman (Quality), Patrik Säisä (Machining) and Joona Pajari (Warehouse). Kreeta reports to Saku Päiväläinen, the Production Director of the Oulu unit. Saku will continue to be responsible for HR management matters and equipment investments in Oulu production.
The core focus of the Production Manager's role is to ensure that production work is carried out efficiently, considering varying workloads. The goal of production and personnel planning is to plan and manage material and personnel capacity requirements based on customer orders, so that production can meet customer expectations efficiently and with high quality, while also achieving the company's other set objectives.
"I have worked for a long time in Aikolon's production and have grown along with the tasks. I believe my strength lies in my deep understanding of daily operations at the so-called grassroots level. This allows me to develop production to meet our specific needs," says Kreeta.
"Kreeta has a long work history at Aikolon, having worked as a production supervisor in engineering and most recently as a production engineer. She has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and is also finishing her master's degree studies in mechanical engineering. Kreeta has good interaction skills and she works close to production so she is able to provide support as soon as the need arises," says Production Director Saku Päiväläinen.
